Meet Val Caruso

I have decades of experience presenting, instructing, briefing, and narrating live ceremonies. Naturally I did a lot of this over decades in the military. I’m also a public speaker beyond the wine education realm.

As a wine educator I’ve presented online webinars, in person professional sessions, as well as corporate and private client events, and have hosted, recorded and produced over 300 podcast episodes. The feedback I’ve received from other speakers is usually focused on my ability to engage the audience.

Voice characteristics I’ve noted from feedback and coaching include: warm, easy to listen to, engaging, inspirational, smooth, & luxury.

In addition to narrating nonfiction works and capturing a professional tone, I appreciate the comments in reviews about my “subtle wit” coming through in the finished works, where desired by the client.

My love for the spoken and written word is expanding from education to other genres like story telling.

Audiobook narration is a particular passion of mine, and I have 10 years of experience in audio editing and producing. I’m also able to produce my own work to meet the ACX audiobook standard.

I’m excited to see (hear) what’s next!
